Bordering the Campsite, you will find the start of this beautiful and 100% recommended excursion. Very well preserved in some of its sections, it is well worth a visit. It is the best historical monument in the Vall de Camprodon. We leave the campsite on the right, and right at the end of the same street we take the track on the left. We will pass by a stream, a quarry and the neighborhood of Ral. Sanctuary of great beauty, you cannot visit its interior, but it is a very nice excursion and you can see cows grazing there. You can extend the excursion and reach Camprodon (8 KM in total). The start point is at the old railway station of Sant Joan de les Abadesses. It can be explored either by hiking or cycling and is appropriate(suitable) for all ages. The distance between Sant Joan de les Abadesses and Ripoll is 9 km and between Sant joan de les Abadesses and Ogassa is 5 km.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignfull has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-blank-green-color has-text-color\">THE BAC VALLEY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blank-dark-grey-color has-text-color\">This route covers the distance of 21.3 km. Leaving the campsite to the right, and at the end of the street we take the paved uphill and follow the path to the left that will take us in the direction of Mas El Mariner. This is the highest point of the route. We will start descending and will not leave the main track until kilometer 10.480. There we will go to the path on the right towards Mas Llongariu, where there is a very beautiful farmhouse. After passing the farmhouse (Mas Llongariu), we will take the path on the right and go up gradually. It is accessed via a rack railway, departing from Ribes de Freser or Queralbs, covering a distance of 12.5 kilometers and overcoming an elevation of over 1,000 meters.
